Dibrugarh Marathon – winner list and their timings

The 7th edition of the Dibrugarh Marathon, presented by Delhi Public School, Dibrugarh, and organized by Marwari Yuva Manch, Dibrugarh Greater, was successfully conducted yesterday.

The event, which saw the enthusiastic participation of a substantial number of people, was flagged off from the Old Govt. Boys High School Field at 5:30 AM yesterday by DMB Chairman Dr. Saikat Patra, Vice Chairman Ujjal Phukon, and other dignitaries.The marathon featured a total of 5 different of categories, catering to a diverse group of participants, including the newly introduced ‘Veteran’ category.

The categories included:

1. 4k Run

2. 7k Run

3. 7k Veteran

4. 11k Run

5. 21.1k Run (half-marathon)

The winners’ list for each category is as follows:

• 4k Male:

4k Female:

1st – Nikhita Chetry (Time: 0:29:25)

1st – Gonesh Gogoi (Time: 0:34:45)

2nd – Debnath Gowala (Time: 0:35:58)

The Dibrugarh Marathon 2023 celebrated the spirit of athleticism and community involvement, providing a platform for participants to excel in their chosen categories and inspire others to embrace a healthy lifestyle.
