India has Reported 145 New Cases in the Last 24 Hours out of which Four Cases are the New China Variant BF.7. In this context,the Indian Medical Association has issued an Advisory to its State and Local Branches to take various steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The advisory includes wearing face masks in public places,maintaining social distance,use of sanitiser,avoiding public gatherings and international travel,consulting a doctor in case of fever, sore throat, cough and loose motions,getting the COVID-19 Vaccination including the precautionary Dose.

Indian Medical Association has also appealed to the Government to upscale the preparedness for any such situation by issuing necessary instructions to the concerned Ministries and Departments to make available the Emergency medicines, Oxygen Supply and ambulance Services. As prevention is better than cure,therefore, all are advised to take the necessary Steps to overcome the impending COVID-19 outbreak.
