Good Governance Week Being Observed in Dibrugarh

As part of the Sushasan Saptah- Prashasan Gaon ki Aur -2022 (Good Governance Week), the public grievance cell of the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Dibrugarh District, Circle offices will hold “Public Grievance Redressal Drive” from 19th December to 24th December, 2022. The general public may approach these offices for getting their grievance redressed during the weeklong celebration.

This mission will definitely be a boon to the entire Dibrugarh district and its people, as because the administration will try to look after and solve any issues that the people of Dibrugarh are facing.

The decision to celebrate Good Governance Week (Sushasan Saptah) was taken by the government in the year of Amrit Mahotsav (75th Year of Independence) ie. 2021. The concept of good governance was to be passed through the districts to the villages and the whole system was to be introduced to the concept of ‘good governance’.

During the week long celebrations, various activities are taken up to demonstrate the government’s commitment towards providing transparent, effective and accountable governance to the people of this country.
