Dibrugarh 24×7, in collaboration with Nandan Bajaj, is back with its famous award ceremony for the upcoming Durgotsav. The name of the award ceremony is Dibrugarh Durgotsav Awards 22.

It started in the year 2018 as Assam’s first ever public poll, the Dibrugarh Durgotsav Awards, which introduced a revolutionary system among the puja pandals of Dibrugarh, making it fair and unbiased process to win the competition by considering views of common people of the town.

The Dibrugarh Durgotsav Awards were halted due to the global pandemic, but as previously stated, the Dibrugarh Durgotsav Awards 2022 are back this year.
Dibrugarh is known for its atmosphere, water, people, tea plantations, and of course, Durgotsav. As a city-based information web portal, it was our sheer excitement to engage everyone through social media with their locality’s puja samities as well as promote Durga Puja committees who work day and night to make the 4 days memorable for the people of Dibrugarh and its surrounding area. Back in 2018, we started this campaign to felicitate the Durga Puja Committees selected by the audience of Dibrugarh in the respected categories. This year’s theme is #ByeToPandemicHelloToDurgotsav, which encourages everyone to enjoy this festive season to the fullest after a two-year hiatus. We also have a jury team to select some Durga Puja Committees for the efforts that go unnoticed.

This year’s theme is #JanataJanardhan where the public is all in all. Decisions will be made either by their choices or by their reactions.
This year’s campaign is called #ByeToPandemicHelloToDurgostav, and it marks the end of the COVID-19 pandemic and the arrival of Durgostav, which is nothing short of a carnival for the people of Dibrugarh.
