An industrial visit by Dibrugarh students at BVFCL and APGCL

Six students from a Dibrugarh based study centre Jagat-Jyoti Torch Bearer were taken for an industrial visit at BVFCL and APGCL complexes in Namrup on the 29th of July 2022. This visit was organized and assisted by the Core Mentor Mrs Jharna Dutta Gaur .

The authorities of the concerned corporations showed keen interest to give a vivid idea of the operation of the respective plants to the students. The General Manager of NTPS of APGCL Md.Zakir, himself clarified the queries of the students along with the Assistant General Manager, Mr Kaushik Ranjan Borah briefed the entire operation of the gas plant while taking the students around the different sections that was indeed beneficial for students’ who could relate their text to real life situations.

Mrs Dutta Gaur also added that such industrial visit help students to explore and learn by themselves which is more effective to monotonous learnings within the four walls of the classroom. The entire members of the Jagat Jyoti Torch Bearer study centre expressed their sincere gratitude to Mr Samaresh Burman the public relation officer of BVFCL and Mr Md.Zakir, the General Manager of APGCL NTPS and Mr Kaushik Ranjan Borah the Assistant General Manager of APGCL along with the team to make the much needed study tour fruitful.
