The Toastmasters club of Dibrugarh’s ‘Club Magazine’ Released and ‘New Executive Committee’ Installed

The city’s leading organization, The Toastmasters Club of Dibrugarh, today celebrated the launch of its annual magazine ‘The Quill’ and installation of a new executive for the upcoming Session with great enthusiasm. Toastmasters is an international organization that helps to develop and articulate public speaking and communication skills.

This special event was attended by members, media and guests at the city’s Gymkhana Club on Sunday morning.At first, the Emcee TM Arunjyoti Dutta and TM Khushi Jain invited the outgoing President TM Vivek Khemka on the stage. TM Vivek delivered an emotional speech detailing his tenure of the last one year and congratulated the forthcoming Committee lead by the newly elected Chairperson TM Yogya Hansaria.

After this all the distinguished guests from various media houses present in the assembly were felicitated with Assamese Gamusa. The magazine ‘The Quill’ was released in the presence of Division Director TM Vivek Deorah, Past President TM Vivek Khemka, New President TM Yogya Hansaria, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine TM Pratibha Varma and eminent businessman of the city and social worker Mr. Arun Jain. After this the Editor-in-Chief TM Pratibha Varma presented her statement about the magazine and thanked everyone.In the next part of the program, TM Vivek Deorah gave a wonderful speech and administered the oath to all the members of the new executive as the installation officer.The new executive board is as follows:President: TM Yogya HansariaVP – Education – TM Trisha ChoudhuryVP – Membership – TM Ravi SurekaVP – Public Relations – TM Harsha AgarwalSecretary – TM Trishna DeorahTreasurer – TM Binit BajoriaSergeant in Arms – TM Arunjyoti DuttaThe program ended with a very inspiring speech by the newly elected President TM Yogya Hansaria, in which she talked about making a debut in the coming session on the lines of ‘Keep Going, Keep Growing’
