Lilabari Airport in Assam’s North Lakhimpur district will house the first commercial pilot training academy in Northeast India. The academy is expected to open on January 25. Aspiring commercial pilots from all over the world will be able to train at the Lilabari academy, according to sources.

It will be a huge help, especially for South Asian countries, and students who want to become commercial pilots will be able to do so right here in the northeast. According to reports, the new academy will include cutting-edge training aircraft with sophisticated avionics similar to those found on Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
