The popular multimedia giant, Snapchat, has launched a new filter, titled ‘Hornbill Festival’ on its platform. The filter appears on the multimedia platform with the graphics of the traditional pattern of the Naga shawl, and the hornbill bird.
The much-awaited 10-day Hornbill Festival of Nagaland kickstarted on December 1. The festival will continue till December 10 at the Naga Heritage Village in Kisama, 12 KM from the state capital. The festival will be showcasing the colourful tradition and cultural diversity of 17 Naga tribes.
The key attractions of the festival include Naga style wrestling, adventure tourism, cross country race, mountain biking race, Hornbill Music Festival, Nagaland Literature Festival and the Nagaland Film Festival.
