14-year-Old Assam Girl Leaves Big B Speechless

Rajnandini Kalita, a young Kaun Banega Crorepati participant from Guwahati, Assam, who studies at South Point School, aspires to be the President of India one day. Amitabh Bachchan, the show’s host, was astounded by her motivating speech, saying, “bade bade neta nahi de pate aisi speeches.”

“I believe that education is the prime solution to eradicate poverty and ignorance,” she said. Rajnandini envisions an India with a literacy rate of 100 per cent, roaring into the age of progress. She also mentions that she wants to be the President of India.

“If I become the president of India I will do my best in fulfilling these set targets. I will realise my vision of India and make other people see it too”, the speech concluded with a thunderous burst of applause.
